Miss Viola was created in 1988 by Harry Mayronne, Jr., with the assistance of his father, Harry Mayronne, Sr., and Lawrence R. Kelley, known for his design work during Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre's "Golden Age" of Children's Theatre. She was refurbished by Jim Word.
