JPAS Children and Youth Choir
Auditions
The Jefferson Performing Arts Society is proud to revive its accomplished children and youth choir program beginning this past fall. Children in grades three and up are encouraged to audition. For the spring, there will be two choirs (3rd-7th grade and 8th-12th grade). The conductor will be Dr. Caroline Carson of the University of New Orleans and Lakeview Presbyterian Church. Caroline is originally from South Carolina, but taught in Georgia for five years before moving to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Most recently, she has given four concerts at UNO and founded the New Orleans Summer Chorus, a community ensemble with members from the New Orleans and Metairie metro areas.

CONCERTS: Spring concerts are currently being planned.
