A New Orleans comedy involving life, death, politics, and partying as practiced in the colorful Irish Channel neighborhood of New Orleans. The story is a riotous tale of confusion and cross purposes. Candidates for Mayor, Congress, and the City Council are being chosen in one room while in the other a first class Irish wake is being held, complete with prayers, striking city workers, missing girdles, singing, and a good deal of drinking.
