The wonderful and fantastical kingdom of Wonderland first sprang from Lewis Carroll's mind while babysitting three young girls on an afternoon boat ride. This May, NOMA and The NOLA Project invite you to step into Wonderland yourself as you chase its eccentric characters around NOMA's Besthoff Sculpture Garden or simply take a seat at the maddest tea party in town. The NOLA Project, the theatre company that has brought Shakespeare to life in the garden for the last few years, will divide the audience in thirds, taking each group on a stupendously smart and silly adventure through Wonderland. NOLA Project playwright Pete McElligott and director Andrew Larimer (A Midsummer Night's Dream) have created a promenade production unlike anything ever experienced in New Orleans. No two visits to Wonderland will be the same!
