DIRECTED by Lenwood O. Sloan, NPN Artist-in-Residence ABOUT THE NPN GUEST ARTIST: Lenwood O. Sloan is an award-winning director/choreographer. He has trained with the Joffrey Ballet Company, the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, the Martha Graham School, and the prestigious London Contemporary Dance Center. His theatrical work has been presented in New York, San Francisco, Paris and Australia prior to his administrative stint as Director of Presenting & Commissioning for the National Endowment for the Arts in Washington, D.C. Mr. Sloan is currently the Pennsylvania Film Commissioner and Director of Cultural and Heritage Initiatives. The Ashé Cultural Arts Center is a NPN Partner of the National Performance Network (NPN). This project is made possible in part by support from the NPN Performance Residency Program. Major contributors of NPN include the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, Ford Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts (a federal agency), the MetLife Foundation and the Nathan Cummings Foundation.
