CALLING ALL NOLA BASED ACTORS:
Seeking a talented group of actors for a table/stage reading of a brand new play by a local playwright. "THE ZEITGEIST CHRONICLES" is a multimedia "dramedy" that takes place during the presidential election of 2008. Three intertwining stories of young people dealing with the older mentors in their lives during the "change" election of '08. The locations are New York City, Los Angeles/Riverside County, CA, New Orleans, LA. DOROTHY DORCHESTER
Irish-American, (former) Roman Catholic, early-80s; retired comedic icon of the "Rat Pack era presently residing in a retirement home in Riverdale, NY
Manhattan with her boyfriend
JAMIE EDLESTEIN/DR HOLCOMBE
Late-20s, atheist, borderline drunk of Irish/ Jewish heritage, originally from Boston, MA now an aspiring and semi-successful (but broke) standup comic living in Manhattan with Carina Thompson/
Late-20s, baby-faced, homosexual doctor originally from Houma, LA now in residence at the Touro Infirmary in New Orleans and Terrence Thompson's lead physician
RONALD THOMPSON
African-American, mid-50s, former Navy, father of Carina Thompson and son of Terrence Thompson; a wealthy businessman, prominent member of the upper echelon of New Orleans' society, and staunch fiscal conservative Republican strongly supporting John McCain -- "Big Chief" of the Thompson Clan
