Co-Producer Brandt Blocker served as Master Of Ceremonies. Janet Shea - Chairman of the event - spoke, as did Stocker's biographer Michael Cahill. New Orleans Councilman-At-Large Jackie Clarkson read a proclamation from the City Council. Attendees were welcomed by Gary Solomon, Jr., of the Solomon Group, which provided food and produced three video presentations featuring commentary from Bryan Batt, Adie Benjamin, Bobbie Bollinger, Butch Caire, Linda Seagrave Cook, Orlin Corey, Martin Covert, Edward R. Cox, Peter Gabb, Vatican Lokey, Lyla Hay Owen, Richard Alexander Pomes, George Sanchez, Kathy Taaffe, and John Wilmot. A highlight of the evening was the surprise voiceover of Stocker Fontelieu himself as Florenz Ziegfeld during Murphy's song from Will Rogers Follies. Proceeds from a cash bar were dedicated to commissioning a long-overdue permanent monument to Fontelieu at Le Petit Theatre.
