The Saints and Sinners Literary Festival, in association with Marigny Theatre, have selected the winner of the 7th annual Saints and Sinners playwriting competition. This year's winning play, HAND Over FIST, is by local writer Michelle Embree, author of the novel, Manstealing for Fat Girls. Ms Embree's play will debut Friday, May 15 at the Marigny Theatre.
A post-K comedy set in the Bywater neighborhood, HAND Over FIST chronicles the exploits of a grifter, a hustler, and a stripper who launch a Feng Shui consulting business.
All shows 9pm. Friday/Saturday only (no matinees). $12 at the door.
