By showing the movie, Rocky Horror Picture Show as a Fundraising event, St. John Theatre is giving a nod to its roots as a movie theatre (Maurin’s Showplace of the River Parishes) and its current use as a live theatre venue. Everyone who used to do the “Time Warp” back-in-the-day, and those younger adults who’ve only heard about the wonderful community experience of Rocky Horror, are encouraged to come out and have a good time to benefit St. John Theatre.
