Artists Erin Cameron-Beute is delighted to begin her 5th season with the Cows on the streets of New York in Gone Missing. Erin holds a B.A. in voice and is the choral director at Trinity Preparatory School. She has worked in repertory theatres from Michigan to California and Florida and displays awards from these in storage bins in her garage. Her recent Florida work includes Orlando Shakespeare Theatre's MacBeth (1st Witch), Playfest 2008 – Erratica (Dr. Stafford), Mad Cow's She Loves Me (Amalia Ballash) Talley's Folly (Sally Tally), Bus Stop (Cherie) and Cinderella (Cinderella) and Orlando Repertory Theatre's Miracle on 34th Street (Doris), The Miracle Worker (Annie Sullivan) and can be seen there in Holes this spring.
Alan Bruun (Director, Set Design) is a founding member of Mad Cow Theatre and serves as Artistic Director. As a director of over 60 professional productions of opera, musical theatre, and drama, Alan's productions have included Faust, Madama Butterfly, The Fantasticks, Oklahoma!, Falsettos, Cosi Fan Tutte, Master Harold and The Boys, Assasins, A Few Good Men, The Life of Galileo, My Fair Lady, Romeo and Juliet, Arcadia, Urinetown, The Constant Wife, Sweeney Todd, and She Loves Me. A popular and dynamic collaborator in the Central Florida arts community, Alan has served as Artistic Director of The Civic Theatres and Director of Production for The Orlando Opera, acted with The Orlando Shakespeare Festival and Orlando Theatre Project, directed for the University of Central Florida, and collaborated with the Orlando Philharmonic. For Walt Disney World, Alan serves as creative show director for new projects and special events, creating high profile live entertainment both here and around the country. For Disney he has directed, staged and written for Julie Andrews, Christopher Reeve, Michael Eisner, General Colin Powell, The Phillip Glass Ensemble, Aerosmith, Cirque Du Soleil, Hayley Mills, two cruise ships and two thousand exceptional children. Alan has also developed and directed projects for Sea World. Alan graduated for Occidental College, Phi Beta Kappa also attending the London Academy of Music and Dramatic arts and New York University.
Anna DeMers is happy to be returning to Mad Cow after her performance in Arcadia. Anna is an Interdisciplinary Theatre artist who creates original work through movement, dance and text. She has an MFA in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College and a BA from Rollins College. She is a collaborative partner with Empty Spaces Theatre Co, recent work: Phobias, Ubu Roi, Stripped and Oedipus. Other choreography credits include JackÕd In at Harwood Watson Dance and POE at Theatre Downtown. With her own company, Terpsichore Collective, she wrote & produced, Fe-or-Male at PlayFest 2005, Solo Face and Hidden Mandala at Orlando Fringe Festival. Up next, she is developing a performance piece investigating postmodernism and deconstruction through the use of technology, media projection and live performance.
Tanya Egor (Stage Manager) This is Tanya's second season with Mad Cow and she's excited to be working with such a great cast and crew. Previous credits include: Music Man, Glengarry Glen Ross, Fantasticks, and It was a Very Good Yule. Tanya has her BFA from University of Central Florida and works at Walt Disney World as an Entertainment Manager with the Disney Event Group. She would like to thank her family for their support. John M. Hemphill, Jr. (Lighting Designer) recently completed his third production at Mad Cow serving as the Lighting Designer for Elliot, A Soldier's Fugue . He has also served as Stage Manager for She Loves Me and Stage Manager/Lighting Designer for Life Is A Dream. John is currently renting his artistic abilities as a Lighting Designer and Technical Director to SeaWorld Orlando. John has a BFA in Theatre Production from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia. Thanks for coming to see the cows, now go see the whales! Obama '08!!
Keith Kirkwood from Edinburgh, Scotland is delighted to be making his Mad Cow Theatre debut in Gone Missing. West End credits include: Crazy For You, Barnum, West Side Story, Camelot, The Misanthrope, A Matter of Chance (Perrier Pick of the Fringe, Donmar Warehouse), Abracadaver. Regional and Touring: Godspell, Guys and Dolls, Mary Stuart (Edinburgh Festival), Rattle of a Simple Man, Can-Can, Hamlet, Tippers, Merchant of Venice, Immaculate Deception, Waving at the Tide (co-creator, choreographer for The Kosh) Keith is a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow.
Jonathan Lang is thrilled to be back in the pasture for his third Mad Cow production. Previous appearances at Mad Cow recently include Charles Guiteau in Asssassins, and Urinetown in 2005. Outside of the pasture, other favorite productions have included 1776, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Guys and Dolls, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The 1940's Radio Hour. A native Bostonian, Jonathan is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory, having received his B.F.A. in musical theatre. In Boston, he has worked as a director, staging productions of Oliver!, Godspell, Joseph, Arsenic and Old Lace, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood. He has also spent many years working offstage in arts administration, serving on the management staff of both the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota, as well as the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center.
Jesse LeNoir (Costume Design) He was last seen in Assassins at Mad Cow and The Little Dog Laughed at the Footlight Theatre. Jesse graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BFA in Acting. During his time there, he performed in productions of Lysistrata, The Good Woman of Setzuan, Sunday in the Park with George, and The Trickeries of Scapin. Jesse currently works as an equity performer at Walt Disney World in Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial. He also works at Universal Studios as Taylor in Poseidon's Fury and has just opened their brand new attraction Disaster! as Lonnie. When not on stage, Jesse is busy designing clothes for his label, House of Kilroy. Thanks to B.B. for all her love and support.
Steve MacKinnon (Musical Director) As a director, music director, accompanist, and actor he has recently worked for Orlando Rep, Mad Cow, Menopause w/ Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tony 'N Tina's, Florida Theatrical Assc: Bway's Class Act, Starlight Theatre, Gramercy Theater, Osceola Center, Universal, WDW, MTV's Legally Blonde: Search For the Next Elle Woods, and Radio City Entertainment. He is the Director of Praise Team Ministries for St. Lukes United Methodist Church. Upcoming projects include playing/conducting Hats! The Musical at the Plaza Theatre, directing Altar Boyz at Theatre Downtown, and music directing Junie B. Jones and If You Give A Pig A Party at the The Rep. Janine Papin has been a teacher for 16 years and a performer for more years than she would like to take credit for. Originally from New York, she has been active in the theatre world of Central Florida as a director, choreographer, singer, dancer and actress. She is employed by Trinity Preparatory School in Winter Park, Florida, where she is the Fine Arts Chairman, the auditorium manager, a theatre teacher, and a director of lots of musicals. She is passionate about what she does and enjoys spreading her enthusiasm to her students. Janine loves to spend any free time she has working with Mad Cow!
Kurt James Wagner (Sound Design) Gone Missing is Kurt's 17th show at the pasture. Previous shows include Major Barbara, Assassins, I Have Before a Remarkable Document Given to Me By a Young Lady From Rwanda, The Rainmaker, The Heidi Chronicles, American Voices, Glengarry Glen Ross, The Seagull, Talley's Folly, Kid-Simple The Cabaret Festival in 2007 and 2006 Kurt currently is a full – time Specialist at Full Sail University in the Audio Post Production for Film program. Also, a freelance Sound Designer, Audio Editor, and Mixer, Kurt works mainly for films, television, and theatre, in the US and for Canada. Kurt has been nominated for several awards, including two Academy of Television Arts and Sciences - "EMMY" nominations for "Audio Editing" and "Sound Mixing", and four International Monitor Awards, one of which he won. Kurt would like to thank Mickey, Payton, and Sydney for their love and support. He would also like to thank Alan and Mitzi for giving Orlando a truly welcoming and creative place for artists to practice their craft.
Jenny Weaver fresh off the Stage Right production of Elliot, A Soldier's Fugue, Jenny is gratefully no stranger to Mad Cow. She has also been seen in She Loves Me, Sweeney Todd, Urinetown, archy & mehitabel, and The Music Man with the OPO at Bob Carr. In other meadows she has been seen in such productions as Swimming After Dark, I Hate Hamlet, and Merrily We Roll Along. Jenny received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University and is a native of Chicago. She would like to thank her parents AGAIN for changing plans to come here yet again. I promise I will make it up there, one day. Thanks to Michael for everything.
Conny Williamson (Stage Manager) When she's not in her role as Cast Service Manager at Walt Disney World, Conny serves as The Company Stage Manager for Mad Cow. Gone Missing marks Conny's fifth Season in the pasture, with her most recent Stage Management credit being Assassins and serving as the Production Stage Manager for The Orlando Cabaret Festival. Conny spends time with the UCF Stage Management Class as a Guest Speaker, and resource, as well as a Mentor for the Disney/UCF Scholarship Program. In Orlando, Conny has worked with Orlando Repertory Theatre, Theatre Winter Haven, and The Orlando Opera Association. Previous credits include performing in and Stage Managing for a variety of productions in and around the Louisville, Kentucky area. Here's hoping you find what's gone missing!!!
Kevin Zepf (Roles TBD) returns to Mad Cow Theatre after recently appearing in Assassins. Kevin has previously performed Off-Broadway in the premiere of Green Gables – A New Musical (York Theatre). Locally, Kevin has performed at Theatre Downtown, Studio Theatre, Icehouse Theatre and the Orlando Rep. In addition, he appeared in Playfest 2008 at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater. Some of his regional credits include: Bat Boy, Titanic, The Spitfire Grill, Hello Dolly!, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Into the Woods, Grease, Annie, The Pajama Game and 1776. Kevin received training from The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in St. Louis. He would like to thank his family, Joe, Deb and Shannon for all their love & support.
