BIOGRAPHY: Marcia Wall first wowed audiences with her comedic talents in 2002 at Le Chat Noir. She's since performed at venues all over New Orleans including The Big Top Gallery, True Brew Café, and the Monkey Hill Bar. In 2004 she served as the Mistress of Ceremonies for NOLA Pride. Outside of Louisiana, Marcia has appeared at the La Jolla Comedy Club in San Diego, at Laugh-A-Latte in Long Beach, California, and at The Dream Bar in Los Angeles.Marcia has performed with noted comics such as Jodi Borello, Mike Strecker, Red Bean, Carrey B, and Carlease Burke. Besides performing, Marcia has produced many comedy shows including “Summer Soiree” (Bourbon Parade, 2003) which raised $3,000 for Dress for Success in one night, and “The Essence of Comedy” (Café Rose Nicaud, 2005) which was produced during the Essence Music Festival just prior to Hurricane Katrina. Most recently, her company Seriously Funny Productions staged bi-monthly shows at Fair Grinds Coffee House in Mid-City.
