There is love and war in the Upper Ninth as Benjamin Boullion, a downward spiraling, self-proclaimed spiritual warrior, is caught between imminent self-destruction in an urban terrorist auto da fe, and utter salvation in the love of his life – his pre-storm, and newly reacquainted lover.
