During the 1960s and 1970s, Harry Mayronne, Sr. owned and operated Harry Mayronne studios, a New Orleans advertising and graphic art studio. During this time his studio designed the posters for Gallery Circle theatre, also in the French Quarter. The studio was located in the French Quarter. Harry also did occasional design work himself for the Southport Cabaret and Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre, as well as for his son Harry Jr. In 1988 he collaborated on the creation of his son's marionette character "Miss Viola", along with Harry Jr. and Lawrence R. Kelly. Mayronne later established New Orleans Talent Services, Inc., a management and booking agency. He managed groups such as the Olympia Brass Band and Tuba Fats' Chosen Few Brass Band. In 1953 he ran The Jazz Center, a Bourbon Street record store
