Karen P. Lynne has served as artistic director for Shining Dove Productions and Rainbow of Hope Productions. Karen P. Lynne has served as artistic director for Shining Dove Productions and Rainbow of Hope Productions. She currently serves as artistic director for "Performing Hearts Performing Arts" which oversees Miss Karen's Puppety Place Puppets, Miss Karen's Neighborhood of Caring, Teen Scenes and Dramapalooza. Her youth outreach programs include "Write! Don't Fight!" which encourages youth to write instead of senselessly fighting and "Don't Be Ill! Be Literate" which promotes literacy and reading for kids and teens. Her artistic and literary work is available through Words of Art Gallery, The Art of Peace, Sweet Sensation and Think Tank Images. Karen has two children's books currently in the works "Larry the Ladybug" with Emmy Winner Joe Alaskey narrating and producing the Bonus Story CD, "Cooking With The Kids At Walter's Place" and "Space Girls Rule!" All 3 books are based upon well received plays and puppet programs she performed in Chicagoland. She recently starred in an original dramedy "You Walked With Who?" and actively performs in Christian plays for Sunday Schools and Youth Groups. Karen is writing the book for two new full-length stage musicals, "Singing In The Boys Room" and "Lemons To Lemonade." She has appeared in professional, regional, university, community theatre and faith-based productions. Karen enjoys sharing her God-given talents with others at hospitals, nursing homes and charitible events. Karen's all time favorite role is "Annie."
