Allan Cahela is a vocalist, pianist, and choral conductor. Cahela is currently completing a degree in Choral Music Education from The University of Southern Mississippi (USM), located in Hattiesburg, MS. He is a member of The Southern Chorale, the premiere vocal ensemble at USM, as well as The Spirit of Southern, an 18-voice all male a capella group. He works as both Music Director and Accompanist for St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs, MS. Cahela is actively involved with Musical Theatre on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the surrounding area. He has been involved with productions for Gulfport Little Theatre, Biloxi Little Theatre, Gulf Coast Musical Theatre, St. Patrick's Catholic High School, and Center Stage Theatre. He has accompanied for the following shows: Sweeney Todd: School Edition, RENT, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, High School Musical, and Celebrate America. During the Summer 2012 Season, he worked as both Musical Director and Accompanist for Center Stage Theatre's production of the Broadway Musical "Hairspray".
