Karel Sloane-Boekbinder is an award winning multi-disciplinary artist with over 29 years artistic experience and 13 years teaching experience. Her disciplines include theater, writing, film/video and visual art. Sloane-Boekbinder has performed nationally and internationally for stage (indoor and outdoor,) film, video and radio, worked in professional theater companies, including New England Academy of Theater, Captain New York/David Niles Productions, YALE Children's Theater, The Cassandra Project (Maine), Grumbling Gryphons Traveling Children's Theater (CY/NY,) The Jefferson Performing Arts Society, The Womens International League for Peace and Freedom (Helsinki, Finland,) The Ashe' Cultural Arts Center, Dramarama, NOLA Playback Theatre and The International Festival of Arts and Ideas (CT.)
