C. Maggie recently relocated to Orlando from Lexington, KY. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Northern Kentucky University and an MA in Theatre from the University of Kentucky. Her thesis, "Attention Must Be Paid," Cried the Balladeer: The Concept Musical Defined, will soon be published by the UK Graduate School. While at UK, she had the opportunity to teach both Acting 1 for nonmajors and a reader's theatre class for the Donovan Scholars program in addition to serving as teaching assistant for Theatre History I and II. Currently, C. Maggie attends the University of Central Florida as an MFA Musical Theatre candidate. This summer, she portrayed Audrey in Ken Ludwig's Leading Ladies for her thesis role. During this process, she discovered that even though comedy may be hard, comedy while on roller skates pretty much guarentees laughter.
Lest you think her overly educated, C. Maggie has performed with various theatres across the nation. Her opportunities have taken her from New Hampshire, to California, to Alaska, with a few touring stops in the Southeast and Midwest. If she hasn't performed in a state, she's at least flown over it or driven through it on the way to her next gig. However, performing in all fifty states would be a fascinating goal. . .
