Lee Farrar Bailey has spent most of his life performing.
His childhood, as the son of an opera singer, immersed him in classical music, gave him the opportunity to travel internationally, and inspired him to explore and expand his own talents.
Through the years, Lee has honed his performance skills in opera, oratorio, musical theatre, and film, as well as contemporary music and songwriting.
Lee tours extensively, giving well-received performances in classical, musical theatre, traditional, contemporary and worship music.
In 2006, Lee released a double CD of sacred and contemporary worship music, as well as another recording that features some of Broadway’s best-loved hits. It is in these recordings and tours that he showcases his tremendous versatility as a trained performer for the stage.
Lee's abilities as an arranger, composer and songwriter combine all of his training and loves into a unique new sound that incorporates multiple genres. Lee carries his skills as a singer, guitarist, pianist, and stage performer into his concerts and captivates his audience in a unique and intimate way.
With the release of Advent, his Christmas album, Lee created a new and warm approach to holiday music that envelopes the listener with a meditative beauty that creates an atmosphere of joy and peace.
Now about to embark in a new direction, Lee's first album of original material found on 5 Days, showcases his ability to mix genres of music while venturing into his love for contemporary rock and electronica.
With over 20 years of teaching, coaching and consulting experience, Lee is in demand as a consultant and coach for up-and-coming artists of all ages, landing many of his protégés into some of the country's most prestigious music schools and conservatories.
