Monica has won Director's Choice award in 2001 as the role of Ana Delgado in "Stand and Deliver" Monica has been nominated for a Gibby Award for Best Actress in 2005. Monica has participated in the National Association of Teachers of Music singing competition winning First Place in the category of Musical Theater Women in 2007 and 2008.
