Ginny Lockhart is a native of Gwinnett. She graduated from Meadowcreek High School and went to Georgia State University where she received a BA in Elementary Teaching. She began working as a musical director when she was only a junior in high school and has loved the role ever since. While at Meadowcreek, she musically directed and accompanied 8 shows, including Big River, Guys and Dolls, Once Upon A Mattress and The Music Man. in 1999, Ginny co-produced and musically directed "Little Shop of Horror" for Summer Fling. She currently teaches third grade at Jackson Elementary School in Lawrenceville. While at Jackson, Ginny helps to co-direct the school's drama club which includes 170 kids. They are currently working on the fifth grade drama's production of "Peter Pan".
Ginny also enjoys time on the stage. Some of her favorite roles and shows include "Winnie Tate" in Annie Get Your Gun, Kiss Me Kate, My Fair Lady and "SR. Mary Leo" in Nunsense which was performed at the 14th Street Playhouse in Atlanta.
