A veteran of community theatre in Mississippi and Florida, Thom is now employed as an Equity performer at Walt Disney World. He is part of the original cast for a new show opening in Epcot, December 2007. In Florida, Thom has performed with Lake Wales Community Theatre, Lakeland Community Theatre (Pied Piper's) and Theatre Winter Haven. He has also directed shows for LWLT and LCT.

The author of several plays, his most recent work, "Praire Dogs", recieved its' world premiere at Lake Wales Little Theatre in 2004.
