Official Press Release

by A&P Promotions,

The NOLA Project and the New Orleans Indie Rock Collective present Finer Noble Gases, the hilarious and gripping jet black comedy by one of the nation’s hottest young playwrights, Adam Rapp. As winter descends on New York, members of the decaying band, Less, weather it in a haze of pain pills and nature shows. But when their TV is mysteriously kicked in, band mates must brave slipping sanity and a worsening blizzard, as they attempt to reconvene.

The unique experience does not end with the play’s curtain however. Presented in partnership with the New Orleans Indie Rock Collective, following each hour-long performance, the audience will experience a live concert by a host of New Orleans’ best indie rock bands, including White Bitch, Felix, Green Genes, Loren Murrell, Wolves Where, City Zoo, Dirty Bourbon River Show, Pumpkin, and Sun Hotel. Tickets to the play and concert will be $10 and tickets to just the concert will be $5.

Gabrielle Reisman will direct actors Liam Kraus, Nick Gomez, Matthew Martinez, Tom Gogola and Chris Lane. Finer Noble Gases will begin performances on Friday, October 9 and will play Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 9pm for three weeks, concluding on Sunday, October 25 at 9pm. Tickets are $10. Tickets to the concert only are $5. For more information, visit www.nolaproject.com.
